Department of Management

The Department of Management was established in 1970 when the Department of Commerce emerged as an independent Faculty of the University of Dhaka. Commerce itself had been introduced as a separate area of study as early as the academic session of 1922-23, immediately after the establishment of the University. The Department now sits at the heart of the Business Studies Building, set in a natural environment enriched with hundreds of green trees.
